"WHAT'S HAPPENING AT DREADNOUGHT"

 

 

  • NEW – Splat Club We will running an issue based group from Apr – Oct 2012 for young people with a diagnosis of ADHD/ADD. The aim of the work is to help young people develop Social skills, Peer relationships, Living in our society, Awareness of other, Triggers for behaviour.

            A few hours to spare each week?  Want to make a positive difference to the lives of young people in Cornwall and gain the opportunity

             Delivered in schools across Cornwall during school hours. Not a full-time commitment; volunteers will form a bank of workers called upon when needed

  • "Flight of the Phoenix"  Dreadnought's Hot Spot project launches it's new courtroom drama "Flight of the Phoenix", where 15 year old Alex Jones is being tried for torching a car.   • ME ZONE (My Escape ZoneAn exciting new piece of work will be starting April 2012 at our Centre in Pool and Penzance. This piece of work is for siblings with a disabled brother or sister. The idea is more "youth work" focused and will be for young people aged between 7-12 years meeting once a month from 5pm-7pm on a Friday evenings. During half term breaks there will be a half day activity.
  • The aim of the group is to meet up, relax andf have fun with no pressure to talk or engage in any specific work.
